We are a family operation located in
Sumner, Nebraska. We have a small
cattle herd where we raise commercial
Red Angus along with a set of cows we
raise bucking bulls out of.
Our bucking herd started with 4 Roping
heifers which Matt used for practice while
he was in high school. They showed
some bucking potential so we decided to
start a herd with them. The herd has now
grown to 20 to 25 cows.
We have given you information about our
cattle, now we can tell you a little about
our family. Doug and Ann Eggleston live
in Sumner, NE which is where most of the
livestock is located and most of the work
is done. Their son Matt, wife Tiffany, and
daughter Ella live in Aurora, NE where a
few cows are also located. And daughter
Melanie, husband Todd Holstein, and
daughter Emmy live in Canyon, TX.
